In the Queue

I’ve got a list a mile long of recipes I’ve read that I want to try. Here are some I can’t get off my mind.

-Peppermint sticks. Out of season, but I still want to give them a shot.
-Swiss meringue buttercream. Okay, I tried this once, but it didn’t turn out well. I think it was user error and it’s high time I gave it another go.
-Cheesecake. I kind of can’t believe I’ve never made cheesecake on my own. Cheesecake brownies, yes. Pumpkin cheesecake bars, yes. Plain cheesecake, not yet.
-Chapati. I’m still working on a naan recipe that I can really enjoy and depend on, but next time I make curry, I’m taking a detour down Chapati avenue.
-Baklava. I’m not a big baklava fan, but I’m pretty sure I promised someone I’d make this about 6 months ago.
-Asparagus and mushroom tart. Comes highly recommended by The Foundation.
